Rivero & Cooper, Inc. is undertaking conversations with PDVSA Venezuelan state oil company, both at the upstream and downstream levels. There is ample interest in most Asian countries to secure extra Venezuelan oil and distilled products. The government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela has a policy of increasing petroleum exports into Asia over the next decade. In conjuntion with our Chinese supply chain partners, we are deepening relationships with Asian refineries and clients from Europe, Africa, Asia and North America, carefully analyzing regulations and filling out paperwork, and building a network of trust among the many parties involved. We also provide consulting services to companies from Middle Eastern countries, interested in deepening their relationship with Venezuelan businesses beyond the formal OPEC framework. The "sowing oil" slogan has been well applied in the financial development of the United Arab Emirates, and the centuries-old friendship message from Venezuela has often been a deterrent for wars. It is our goal to develop and consolidate widely based relationships between the Middle East and Venezuela through profitable oil investment know-how, just as we are developìng widely based relationships between Africa and Venezuela through educational projects.
